Last season on Buffy
the Vampire Slayer....
This site, as if you can't tell, is dedicated toBuffy the Vampire Slayer, and her'"not as yet, but really, really wants to be her boyfriend--despite his being a creature of the night," pet vampire-- Spike . Spike, in case you have no clue what I am talking about, is a 120 plus year vampire that currently has a government chip in his head that keeps him from harming humans, and is currently workung with Buffy and her gang of friends, the Scoobies which include two witches, Willow and Tara, an ex-demoness, Anya, her boyfriend Xander, Buffy Watcher, Rupert Giles and Buffy;' sister, Dawn. The problem with Buffy and Spike getting together is that she is a vampire slayer, who kills creatures of the night, so that they are forever mortal enemies, yet despite that there is much, much more going on between them--if she will ever admit to it. This site is also dedicated to the belief that since Spike is not a normal vampire to begin with, who is in love with the Slayer, and has vowed to protect her little sister until the end of the earth is able love, and to be good by his own choice despite his demon nature. Since he does care about the world around him, helps people, and fights the demons, and can see people as more than just 'happy meals on legs', he is not totally evil, and is redeemable.
My favorite quote from "Lover's Walk" ( 3rd Season) where Spike was lecturing Angel, and Buffy actually fits his current situation with Buffy:
Spike: (faces them) You're *not* friends. You'll never be friends. You'll be in love till it kills you both. You'll fight, and you'll shag, and you'll hate each other till it makes you quiver, but you'll never be friends. (points at his temple) Love isn't brains, children, it's blood... (clasps his chest) blood screaming inside you to work its will.
